Fuelled by the delights of ethnic spices and culinary flare Kajjal is located on the Green in bustling Malahide. Kajjal opened in 2007, by Sean Collender and Shoaib Yunus, whose vision, history and experiences have culminated in the creation of a unique restaurant that has been warmly welcomed by the people of Malahide, and become a firm favourite across Dublin. Serving Pakistani and Ethnic dishes Kajjal shares its ethos and aim’s with her sister restaurants; Kinara in Clontarf, and Kinara Kitchen located in Ranelagh. Our experience and passion strives and succeeds to provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where great food is consistently served to a high standard of service. Central to this is our focus on high quality ingredients prepared in-house with great attention to detail. This level of quality is reflected both in our stylish interior and presentation of food, where a further touch of warmth is added by the contemporary furnishings, creating a combination of refreshing and comfortable surroundings with a reflection of our cultural ties with Pakistan.
In 2010 Kajjal won the Georgina Campbell award for Best Ethnic Restaurant in Ireland.
In March 2011 Kajjal was awarded Service Excellence by the Malahide Chamber of Commerce
