Local hard-working charity organisation Malahide Lions Club are at it again, this time getting ready for the annual Malahide Classic and Vintage Motor Show.

Around 100 beautiful cars will be on display in the show at the Grand Hotel in Malahide on Sunday, 15 May opening to the public at eleven.

This is the fifth running of the event which now attracts car lovers and families from all across Dublin and Leinster.

Entrance to the event will cost €5 per adult or €15 for the entire family with the entire proceeds going to St. Francis Hospice in Raheny and other charitable causes. See poster for details.

There will be motoring nostalgia and music for mum and dad. For the kids there’s a play area and face painting. It promises to be a great value event for families and motor enthusiasts alike and all in a good cause.

Saturday May 14th, 10:00am - 6.30pm

Malahide Community School Parents Association will host their annual Plant Sale in the School Canteen on Friday afternoon (13/5) and all day Saturday (14/5). All Welcome.

Brighten up your home with pre-planted hanging baskets, window boxes and pots or get all you need to do your own pots. A wide variety of bedding plants are also available, as well as herbs, tomato and strawbery plants.

All available at great value prices. Plenty parking available. Come early to avoid disappointment.

We also have an on-site cafe serving home-made cake and tea/coffee, so why not treat yourself.

Tickets can be purchased on the day from the Visitor Centre in the courtyard building at Malahide Castle. No need to pre-book.

Why not get your little adventurers to dress up, we’ll have face painters on hand to transform them into favourite fantasy creatures!
